Cecilie Gaffney (Cece) is a dedicated practitioner specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture Physical Medicine, with a focus on treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Cece utilizes a blend of Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Cupping, as well as Tui Na therapies to provide holistic care and promote healing. By integrating traditional theory with modern techniques, Cece has helped numerous individuals find relief from chronic and acute pain, stress and anxiety, sleep disturbances, digestive issues as well as women’s health. Lastly Cece is certified in Microneedling for facial rejuvenation and is passionate about supporting her patient’s internal health while visibly improving facial tone, skin elasticity and luminosity.
Cece received her training in Acupuncture at The Won Institute where she earned her Graduate degree. She continues to expand her knowledge and expertise through ongoing education and training, staying at the forefront of advancements in integrative medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, Cece is passionate about educating others about the benefits of TCM and holistic healing modalities believing that the best outcomes come with helping her patients fully gain autonomy over their healing journey.
Outside of her professional pursuits Cece enjoys being outside either walking her dog Conny or hiking in the Wissahickon. Cece is also active in the Philadelphia cycling community and is a long-standing member of PA Randonneurs, a group that specializes in long-distance self-supported rides ranging in distances of 200-1200KM. She has completed the historic Paris Brest Paris 1200K since 2011 where she utilized acupuncture to both prepare and recover during her training.
